The Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) is an entrance exam used by many private schools in the United States.

The ISEE has three levels:

- Lower level, for entrance in grades 5th to 6th.

- Middle level, for entrance in grades 7th to 8th.

- Upper level, for entrance in grades 9th to 12th.

All levels consist of five sections:

- Verbal Reasoning.

- Quantitative Reasoning.

- Reading Comprehension.

- Mathematics Achievement.

- 30-minute essay.
